Forest utilization is the goal in the survival of the farming community, namely with good and wise use. In the good use of natural resources, it should also have a good impact on the next generation in terms of forest use as well as the function and use of forests for humans. The subject determination technique in this study uses Snowball (rolling ball) and purposive sampling (determined based on certain criteria). The Snowball technique is used to trace local actors and informants who are the first to enter the area of Hamlet IV Plambayan which is actually a special zone of the Sultan Syarif Hasyim Forest Park. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the possibility of community expansion to Hamlet IV Plambayan involves key actors who have access to the surrounding area. As already explained, the area is a special zone that should not be used for any purpose. Sultan Syarif Hasyim Forest Park, commonly abbreviated as Tahura SSH, is a conservation forest area that has a special zone. In the special zone of the Sultan Syarif Hasyim Forest Park, there is no longer any new land clearing for plantation activities or others. This shows that there are conservation and protection efforts for the forest area.
