Analisis Pengelolaan Sistem Drainase Kota Pangkalan Kerinci Provinsi Riau

As the capital of Pelalawan Regency, Pangkalan Kerinci City is an area
that has high potential for industrial, plantation, trade and residential areas. With
the existence of various regional potentials and adequate support, Pangkalan
Kerinci City is therefore one of the priorities in Pelalawan Regency for the
development of existing infrastructure, especially in drainage development.
Considering that the drainage conditions in the Pangkalan Kerinci City area are
still in very poor condition which often causes flooding in the Pangakalan Kerinci
City, one way that can be done to prevent flooding in the Pangkalan Kerinci City
area is to carry out a management analysis. Pangakalan Kerinci City drainage
system using a rational method approach and priority scoring for handling
inundation. The results of the research were carried out using daily rainfall data
from 2012 to 2021 and hydrological station map data. The results of the analysis
of the management of the drainage system in Pangkalan Kerinci City using the
rational method are that there are 344 (three hundred and forty four) channels
that have been given a channel code. Then the lowest peak discharge is found in
channel code A72 with a discharge magnitude of 0.1021 (m/s). Meanwhile, the
highest peak discharge is found in channel code A195 with a discharge magnitude
of 3.6720 (m/s). Then, based on the results of the priority scoring test for handling
inundation, there are 16 (sixteen) inundation locations including priority 1 (one),
25 (twenty five) inundation locations including priority 2 (two), 9 (nine)
inundation locations including priority 3 (three). The calculation for determining
the priority scale is in accordance with PUPR Ministerial Regulation Number 12
of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Urban Drainage Systems.
