Playstation Network (PSN) is an entertainment service in the form of digital media games developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Buying and selling PSN PS4 accounts has become increasingly popular lately, there are several WA / Telegram groups that specifically sell these accounts. So there is a seller, selling several types of PSN accounts in which there are several games, the games can have various titles, and the number for each account is different, depending on the price of the account. Sharing your own account is actually a feature that is officially provided by PlayStation, apart from that, it is also widely used in the Playstation Network account buying and selling Marketplace as an object of buying and selling. For one of requirement The validity of the agreement that must be reviewed further is a reason that is lawful or not prohibited.
The purpose of writing this thesis is: first, to find out the legal validity of buying and selling Playstation Network (PSN) accounts on the Marketplace in relation to Indonesian laws and regulations. Second, to find out how efforts to buy and sell Playstation Network (PSN) accounts in the Marketplace comply with Indonesian laws and regulations. The research method in this thesis uses normative juridical research, namely research that focuses on examining the application of rules or norms. in positive law. The nature of this thesis research is researchdescriptivewhich systematically describes the facts and characteristics of the object being studied accurately. The data source used is the data sourcefirst, seconds andtertiary. The data collection method used in this research is firstly literature study, which is a technique for obtaining secondary data through documents related to the problem, objectives and benefits of the research, then after the data is collected it is then analyzed to draw conclusions.
Based on the research results, the author concludes that the Legal Validity of Buying and Selling Playstation Network (PSN) Accounts in the Marketplace is Linked to Indonesian Legislation and is invalid, because the agreement does not fulfill the objective requirements of a particular thing and a lawful reasons, if the objective conditions for the validity of an attempt to buy and sell Playstation Network (PSN) accounts on the Marketplace meet the laws and regulations in Indonesia by understanding the PSN Service Terms and Conditions Study the PSN Service Terms and Conditions, Comply with the electronic trading system, choose the Platform Trusted Marketplace .
