The emergence of innovation combining network and electronic technology creates online-based transportation that is flexible and efficient in moving goods and/or services. The relationship created between online motorcycle taxi companies and their driver partners is based on a partnership agreement. The online motorcycle taxi agreement with the driver partner is not only a legal basis, but also determines the dynamics of a mutually beneficial business relationship. This research aims to determine whether the implementation of this partnership agreement reflects justice, balance and sustainability in the online motorcycle taxi ecosystem. This research was conducted on online motorcycle taxi companies in Pekanbaru City. Has this partnership agreement been implemented and what are the obstacles to the online motorcycle taxi agreement? The aim of this thesis research is firstly to find out the implementation of online motorcycle taxi agreements with driver partners in passenger delivery services in Pekanbaru city. Second, to find out the inhibiting factors in implementing online motorcycle taxi agreements with driver partners in passenger delivery services in Pekanbaru city.
This type of research is sociological legal research, namely research carried out on actual conditions or real conditions that occur in society. This research uses primary data originating from field data and secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The data collection technique used in this research is interview, questionnaire and literature review methods. This research uses qualitative methods, namely research that produces descriptive data, namely what respondents describe in writing and orally and real behavior. And deductive conclusions, namely drawing conclusions from general things to specific things.
The results of the research show that the implementation of online motorcycle taxi agreements with driver partners in passenger delivery services in the city of Pekanbaru at online motorcycle taxi companies states that everyone who wants to have a working relationship must sign a standard online motorcycle taxi agreement prepared by the online motorcycle taxi company. For driver partners, the agreement made by the online motorcycle taxi company does not work properly because many partners violate the contents of the agreement, such as: violating traffic, using gadgets while driving, not carrying attributes, using inappropriate vehicles, using vehicle number plates that do not match those registered in partner applications and policies contained in the online motorcycle taxi agreement.
