Pemahaman Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Riau Angkatan 2021 tentang Penggunaan Jodoushi Souda

This research is entitled "University of Riau Class of 2021 Japanese Language Education Students' Understanding of the Use of Jodoushi Souda". This research is quantitative research. The aim of this research is to determine the level of understanding of 2021 Japanese Language Education students regarding the use of jodoushi souda. The population in this study were students in the sixth semester class of 2021, Riau University Japanese Language Education Study Program with a sample size of 30 people. Data collection in this research used a research instrument in the form of 25 test questions. Apart from that, based on the theory used, there are three indicators used in this research to achieve the research objectives, namely (1) categorizing, (2) concluding, and (3) translating.
The data collection technique starts with distributing the test instruments, then students are given time to work on the test questions for 1 hour. Then after the test questions are collected, the answer sheet results are checked and given a score/grade. Then the data analysis technique is carried out after going through a series of data collection techniques and finding student scores and grades. Furthermore, student scores are classified according to the University of Riau score index to determine whether the student's level of understanding is in the qualifications of very good, good, fair, poor, or very poor. The results of this research are that students' understanding of the use of jodoushi souda as denbun is at a low level with an average score of 44.33. Meanwhile, jodoushi souda as youtai is also less qualified with an average score of 51.76. If we look at the three indicators used, it can be concluded that the indicator is the indicator with the lowest average value. For the qualification level of understanding in this research, reference is made to the Riau University score index. So, it can be concluded that students' understanding of the use of jodoushi souda when viewed from the average score, souda as youtai is higher than souda as denbun. Then, for students' understanding of the use of general jodoushi souda, they are less qualified.
