Pengaruh Keterampilan Proses Sains Terhadap Kemampuan Bernalar Kritis Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk IT Insan Teladan Pekanbaru
This research aims to determine the influene of science process skills on the critical reasoning abilities of children aged 5-6 years at the Insan Teladan IT Kindergarten in Pekanbaru. This research is quantitatie research with a correlation type of research. The research population was 88 children aged 5-6 years at the Insan Teladan Pekanbaru IT Kindergarten, the sample used was 88 children. This research with a correlation test using the Pearson Product Moment formula and nominal data characteristics with the help of IMB SPSS version 23. Based on the results of the correlation test calculation, the Pearson Product Moment value is 0,868. The correlation coefficient value of 0,556 is in the range of 0,80-1,000, meaning that there is a very strong relationship between science process skills and critical reasoning ability in a positive direction, which means that the lower the child’s science process skills, the lower the child’s critical reasoning ability. The resulting determinant coefficient alue is r2 (r square) = 0,735, meaning 73,5%, which means that science process skills have a 73,5% influence on children’s critical reasoning abilities. This shows that there is an influence of science process skills on the critical reasoning abilities of children aged 5-6 yearsh at the Pekanbary Insan Teladan IT Kindergarten.
