Pemanfaatan Campuran Ekstrak Daun Bintaro (Cerbera Manghas) Dan Daun Babadotan (Ageratum Conyzoides) Dalam Pengendalian Hama Kutu Putih (Paracoccus Marginatus) Pada Pembibitan Ekaliptus (Eucalyptus Pellita)
Eucalyptus pellita has a significant role in developing timber plantations to supply raw materials for pulp and paper production. PT Arara Abadi District Sorek is the main company that produces this plant. The eucalyptus nursery at PT. Arara Abadi District Sorek were attacked by Paracoccus marginatus. The application of chemical pesticides is effective in controlling Paracoccus marginatus infestations, but it may have negative impacts. Therefore, the alternative method uses biopesticides made from a combination of Cerbera manghas and Ageratum conyzoides leaf extracts. This study aimed to determine the effect of a mixture of Cerbera manghas and Ageratum conyzoides leaf extracts and concentrations to control Paracoccus marginatus infestations in eucalyptus nursery. This experiment was laid out in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments (30 gr/l, 40 gr/l, 50 gr/l, and 60 gr/l), followed by a DNMRT test at 5% confidence level. Room temperature, relative humidity, initial time of death, 50% lethal time, daily mortality, and total mortality were studied. The results indicated that 60 gr/l extract caused the initial time of death (7.55 hours), 50% lethal time (20.83 hours), and 100% total mortality.
