The research aims to obtain the best concentration of sodium chloride (NaCl) activator for making activated charcoal from corn cobs. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design. The research aims to obtain the best concentration of sodium chloride (NaCl) activator for making activated charcoal from corn cobs. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of six treatments and three replications to obtain 18 experimental units. The treatments in the research were the concentrations of NaCl activators: K0 (0% NaCl concentration), K1 (5% NaCl), K2 (10% NaCl), K3 (15% NaCl), K4 (20% NaCl), and K5 (25% NaCl).
