ABSTRACT

The KB Village Program is an effort that aims to improve the standard of living of villages or similar communities in order to encourage the development of quality small families. Community participation determines the success of the KB village program. This study aims to analyze Community Participation and obstacles in Community Participation in the Implementation of the KB Village Program in Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation collected are examined based on the problems found. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of the KB Village Program in Air Dingin Village has been running quite well, but has not involved the community as a whole. The main obstacles in this program are budget limitations and lack of community enthusiasm. Recommendations Conduct training socialization to the local community and submit additional operational funds to the Pekanbaru City Government, another alternative is to work with the private sector to get additional funds.
