Learning outcomes are manifestations of learned behavior usually seen in changes, habits, skills, attitudes, observations and abilities. A person's success in following the learning process at a particular educational level can be seen from the learning outcomes themselves. The learning outcomes obtained by each student after following the learning process are proven by numerical values or sentences based on various considerations. Every student certainly does not have the same ability to understand lessons both in terms of the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain. Many factors cause good student learning outcomes from internal factors such as learning style, interest in learning, efforts to learn independently and motivation to learn, while external factors consist of teachers' pedagogical abilities, infrastructure, completeness of learning facilities from parents, social environment and abilities. economy and people's attention. Therefore, students must have good learning outcomes in each subject in order to achieve changes in behavior for the better.
The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of pedagogical competence and learning styles on learning outcomes. the ability of teachers to understand students' characters, organize learning, implement learning, evaluate and develop students' potential. Student learning styles are the methods or strategies used by a student to obtain information in the form of lessons delivered by the teacher.
The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tapung Hilir. The number of respondents was recorded as 92 students, using random sampling techniques. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and multiple regression. Descriptive analysis is describing the facts and the influence between the variables studied. Meanwhile, multiple linear regression analysis is used to measure the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Data were analyzed with the help of the SPSS Version 22 program.
Based on the research results, it shows 1) Pedagogical competence has a significant effect on learning outcomes. It is known that the pedagogical competence variable (X1) has a t-count value of 2.476 > t-table = 1.986 and a Sig value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means that pedagogical competence influences student learning outcomes. This implies that the better the teacher's pedagogical competence, the better the students' learning outcomes, and vice versa. 2) Learning style also has a significant effect on learning outcomes. It is known that the learning style variable (X2) has a t-count value of 2.599 > t-table = 1.986 and a Sig value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H2 is accepted, which means that learning style influences student learning outcomes. This means that the better students are at recognizing their learning styles, the better their learning outcomes will be and vice versa.

and learning styles on student learning outcomes in Economics subjects, 1) students have varied learning styles, including visual, auditory and kinesthetic, so they are expected to be able to recognize the learning styles of each student so that teachers can designing lessons well according to students' needs and hopefully being able to get good learning outcomes. 2) teachers are expected to pay more attention to the potential of each student and guide them to get good learning results. 3) Teachers can also provide a vehicle for students to develop their potential so that students are better able to express themselves. 4) This research can be used as reference material for future researchers in conducting research on student learning outcomes and it is hoped that other researchers can carry out updates and add other variables besides those studied in this research.
