This research was conducted at the Arengka Pagi Market, Pekanbaru City. The Arengka Pagi Market in Pekanbaru City is one of the traditional markets in Pekanbaru, Riau, specifically in East Sidomulyo, Marpoyan Damai District. The location is very strategic, located in the middle of Pekanbaru City. The Pekanbaru City Government is constructing a flying over at the intersection between Jalan Soekano-Hatta and Jalan H. R. Soebrantas. The aim of this research is to determine the activities of Vegetable Traders at the Arengka Morning Market, Pekanbaru City, to determine the competitive activities of Vegetable Traders at the Arengka Morning Market, Pekanbaru City, and to determine the competitive activities between Vegetable Traders at the Arengka Morning Market, Pekanbaru City. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation carried out by researchers on research subjects. The type of research is purposive sampling where the criteria have been determined in this
research. The theory used in this research is competition according to Cravens. The results of this research are how competitive activities are between vegetable traders who sell vegetables at the Arengka Morning Market, Pekanbaru City.
Traders have a strategy in selling vegetables, namely a strategy to get merchandise in the form of vegetables, then a strategy to set prices, and a strategy to get customers
