Rancang Bangun Sistem Pintar Postur Tubuh Berdasarkan Klasifikasi Gangguan Skoliosis Berbasis Internet Of Things (Iot)
Scoliosis is a spinal deformity characterized by an abnormal curvature, typically shaped like the letter C or S. The exact cause of scoliosis is unknown, but the majority of cases (75-85%) are idiopathic scoliosis. Therefore, the aim of this research is to design an intelligent posture system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology for individuals with scoliosis. The "skoming" system uses flex sensors to measure the curvature angle of the spine and an ESP32 as the processor, controller, and data processing unit, which then sends the data to the Blynk server. The outcome of this research includes both hardware and software based on the Blynk application for real-time monitoring of the spine’s angle and condition. Voltage measurements show an error range between 0.87% and 17.7%, and the device continues to function well. The "skoming" device was tested on both normal individuals and scoliosis patients for monitoring and early detection of scoliosis. The delay testing using Wireshark showed a request delay of 13,75647295 ms and a response delay of 14,253 ms, with a packet loss of 0,4%. Overall, this skoming device successfully performed monitoring and early detection for scoliosis patients.
