Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Video Virtual Reality Candi Muara Takus Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Di Sman 2 Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
The Muara Takus Temple virtual reality video learning media is a solution to learning problems, especially in history learning where the material is a lot and tends to make students bored if they only learn using the lecture method. This research aims to develop virtual reality video history learning media for Muara Takus Temple as an effort to increase student learning motivation at SMAN 2 Singingi, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The type of research used is development research (Reaserch and Devalopment) with the PLOMP development model which consists of 3 stages, namely the preliminary research stage, the prototype development stage (prototyping phase), and the assessment stage (assessment stage). The research results showed that the results of the feasibility test for virtual reality video learning media at Muara Takus Temple obtained a percentage of material experts of 98%, media experts of 90%, small group student assessments of 92.8% and small group student assessments of 81.4%. large group student assessment of the total assessment.
showed “very decent” results. And to increase students' learning motivation, the percentage results obtained were 84.2% in the "good" category compared to previously only 52.5% in the "fairly good" category. So it can be concluded that the virtual reality video history learning media of Muara Takus Temple is able to increase students' learning motivation, especially at SMAN 2 Singingi.
