Students’ Perceptions On The Implementation Of English Camp Program To Improve Their Speaking Skill Of Man 2 Kuantan Singingi

This research aimed to find out students’ perceptions on the implementation of English camp program to improve their speaking skill of MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi. The sample of this research was taken by using the purposive sampling technique that from the 9th generation of english camp program at MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi. The number of sample was 40 students. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. There were a total of 30 statements in the questionnaire. A Likert scale was used in this study using survey design with a quantitative research. There are four choices in the questionnaire from strongly agree to strongly disagree. The result of this research revealed that the average score of students was 3.49 and categorized into positive criteria Students found a new place and new way to thoroughly practice English at the English camp. In summary, English camp program is a good program to improve students speaking skill.
