Analisis Karakteristik Aerodinamika Pada Bodi Bus Berukuran Besar
Developments in the field of aerodynamics are found on the body, this aims not only in appearance, but also the effectiveness of the body in overcoming drag forces and lift forces. This research will lead to a large bus body, which will analyze its aerodynamics until the Cd value is obtained so that the drag force that occurs on the bus can be known. In this study using the Computational method, the research was carried out with the help of simulations on a computer with reference to actual conditions, the applications used were Ansys and Inventor, and simulated with a ratio of 1:1 test specimen size. This research is supported with the help of the Inventor application to assemble bus element components, as well as the Ansys application to run aerodynamic simulations using a wind tunnel as a means of knowing the characteristics that occur in the bus body. The results of the study found that the magnitude of the drag force value obtained during the simulation for speed variations of 50 km/h, 75 km/h, and 100 km/h were 919.13 N, 2055.06 N, and 3649.03 N. And the magnitude of the lift force value obtained in the simulation was 620.78 N, 1386.83 N, and 2484.03 N. And the drag coefficient value obtained in the simulation was 1.1922295, 1.1904504, and 1.1918755. And the lift coefficient values obtained in the simulation are 0.80524294, 0.80335838, and 0.81135324 with the percentage of error compared to the theoretical calculation is 1,71%.
