Implementing Village Government requires the professionalism of village officials in providing administrative services to the community. But often in implementation, there are still village officials who are still unprofessional in carrying out the tasks and functions that have been given. In Kubang Jaya Village, one of the villages that directly borders Pekanbaru City, it should have advantages in accessing all needs, receiving information more quickly, as well as adequate facilities and infrastructure, especially in providing administrative services to the community. However, in reality there are still problems that the village has, as indicated by the existence of village officials who cannot carry out their duties and functions properly and do not comply with the regulations that have been agreed upon in the Kubang Jaya Village Regulations.
The aim of this research is to describe the professionalism of village officials in providing administrative services located in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research.
Professionalism in question is an attitude or condition in carrying out tasks so that they are carried out with high quality, at the right time, carefully, and with procedures that are easy to understand. According to Sedarmayanti, there are 4 (four) indicators of professionalism, including: 1) competence, 2) effectiveness, 3) efficiency, and 4) responsibility.
