Analisis Hubungan Kebisingan Dan Kelelahan Kerja Pada Unit Steam Generator Dengan Menggunakan Uji Chi-Square Di Pt. Xyz
Production machine activities in the steam generator unit at PT.XYZ, generate noise with noise levels at the boiler machine (98.4 dBA), softener machine (87.1 dBA), and storage tank (85.6 dBA). The value obtained exceeds the threshold value (NAB) of 85 dBA so that it can cause disturbances to workers, one of which is fatigue. The study aims to determine the noise level in the Steam Generator unit work area, determine the level of fatigue using the KAUPK2 and reaction time methods and analyze the relationship between age, tenure, gender and noise level to fatigue using the chi-square test method. The tool used was Sound Level Meter (SLM) and the research was conducted for 3 consecutive days with 3 measurements in 4 measurement areas. To measure the level of fatigue, the KAUPK2 questionnaire and reaction time method were used. Chi-Square test using SPSS application to test the relationship between noise level and work fatigue level. The noise level at the boiler machine was (98.4 dBA), at the softener machine (87.1 dBA), and at the storage tank (85.6 dBA). The noise level obtained exceeds the threshold value (NAB) of 85 dBA. While the noise level in the operator room is (81.6 dBA), this value does not exceed the threshold value (NAB). The results of measuring the level of fatigue using the KAUPK2 method obtained the number of workers who experienced mild fatigue as many as 7 people, who experienced moderate fatigue as many as 11 people and who experienced severe fatigue as many as 7 people. The results of measuring the level of fatigue using the reaction time method obtained that the number of workers who experienced mild fatigue was 3 people, who experienced moderate fatigue was 3 people and who experienced severe fatigue was 19 people. Chi-square test analysis results to show that there is a relationship between fatigue and factors such as age, length of service, and noise level (p-value: 0.004; 0.021; and 0.036). However, there was no significant relationship between gender and fatigue (p- value: 0.606). The results of the analysis showed that the number of workers who experienced severe fatigue with the reaction time method was more than the KAUPK2 method.
