Analisis Risiko Lingkungan Pajanan Gas Hidrogen Sulfida (H2s) Dan Amonia (Nh3) Pada Pedagang Di Sekitar Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (Tps) Pasar Pagi Arengka Kota Pekanbaru
Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and ammonia (NH3) are hazardous gases commonly found in waste management facilities. This study aims to analyzethe environmental health risks associated with H2S and NH3 emissions from the Solid Waste Management Facility of Arengka Morning Market in Pekanbaru City. Data collection included waste characteristics, meteorological conditions, and H2S and NH3 concentrations. The facility was found to generate high volumes of organic and inorganic waste, with H2S concentrations in the morning ranging from 0.284 to 1.61 ppm and in the afternoon from 0.218 to 0.483 ppm, as well as NH3 concentrations in the morning ranging from 1.653 to 2.144 ppm and in the afternoon from 1.791 to 25.001 ppm, exceeding quality standards. Analysis of vendor characteristics revealed health hazards due to prolonged exposure. Risk Characteristic (RQ) of Ammonia obtained values ranged from 0.570 to 0.931, while Risk Characteristic (RQ) of H2S obtained values ranged from 0.211 to 0.733.
