Siak Kecil district has the conditions of an area that is dominated by sludge, so the water quality is very inadequate in quantitative and qualitative terms. Meanwhile, the region's only source of water relies on rainwater. Because of the soil conditions in this region, which have a high level of acidity and hairs, the groundwater becomes a very rough and brown colour containing organic compounds. This situation makes people unable to use groundwater for their daily needs. Therefore, there is a need for other alternatives to meet the needs of clean water by using Rainwater Harvesting technology. Supported by the Raincycle Standard v2.0 program based on the line of rainfall drops that fall to the ground (roof’s drip) which is the limit of the rainwater capture area (catchment area) as well as the need for water according to the number of family members of each type of home. To meet the clean water needs in Siak Kecil district of Bengkalis, where with the size of the Cathcment Area 144 m2, 135 m2, 119 m2, 91 m2, 70 m2 and 49 m2 can use 3 tanks, the Budget Plan Costs for 3 tank ,The results of the test of rainwater quality that did not meet the standard E.Coli and Total Coliform parameters, to reduce levels of E.coli and total coliform can be done by using a disinfection process that is using Chlorine Tube, with a PVC pipe with a diameter of 3 cm.
