Analysis Of Competitiveness And Factors Affecting The Value Of Indonesian Rubber Exports Period 2001-2022
ABSTRACT
This study had two objectives: (a) to figure out what impacts Indonesia's elastic commodities and (b) to look at the possible seriousness of Indonesia's elastic products on the global market regarding near advantage. The objects of this assessment are versatile wares (Y), flexible creation (X1), and overall flexible expenses (X2). This study utilizes a quantitative methodology, using an Uncovered Symmetric Similar Benefit (RSCA) instrument to inspect send out intensity and different direct relapse investigation to look at the effect of elastic creation factors (X1) and global elastic costs (X2).
The test results show that rubber exports from Indonesia are highly competitive, coming in third place behind those from Thailand and Ivory Coast. Due to Indonesia's positive RSCA value each year close to 1, Indonesian rubber still has a strong competitiveness and a comparative advantage, even though its competitiveness decreases annually. Multiple linear regression analysis of factors affecting Indonesian rubber exports revealed that the variables of production and international rubber prices have a positive and significant impact on exports of rubber from Indonesia.
