Pengaruh Kombinasi Pupuk Npk Dengan Masa Simpan Pupuk Hayati Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Di Lahan Inceptisol
ABSTRACT
Red onion are plants originating from Asia that have high selling value. Red onion cultivation can be done on inceptisol land which generally has low nutrient availability. One effort to increase nutrient availability is by adding biological fertilizers, but biological fertilizers alone are not able to meet the nutrients needed by red onion, so they are combined with NPK fertilizers. Biofertilizers contain microbes that will experience a decline in effectiveness, so proper storage techniques are needed so that they can still be used. The carrier material used in this study as a storage medium is M. bracteata. This research was conducted at faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, from November 2023 to April 2024. This research was conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were P1: 100% inorganic fertilizer; P2, P3, P4: 75% inorganic fertilizer + sludge palm oil + biofertilizer 10 ml (10% M. bracteata) 0, 1 dan 2 months shelf life ; P5, P6,P7: 50% inorganic fertilizer + sludge palm oil + biofertilizer 10 ml (10% M. bracteata) 0, 1 dan 2 months shelf life. The combination of 50% NPK + solid compost + 2 months of storage period was able to provide the best results for the growth and production of red onion.
