Analisis Kesiapan Guru Menangani Anak Slow Learner Dalam Pembelajaran Menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka
This research aims to determine the readiness of teachers to handle slow learner children in learning using the kurikulum merdeka. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques, then the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman triangulation model. The results of this research show that the teacher’s readiness to handle slow learner children is learning using the kurikulum merdeka has been implemented well, as can be seen from the teacher’s readiness before carrying out the learning process in the classroom which consists of : (1) Creating teaching modules, (2) Choosing a learning model, (3) Creating learning media, (4) Creating learning evaluation. Meanwhile, teacher readiness in handling slow learner children includes : (1) Teachers give special attention amd strong motivation to slow learner students, (2) Teachers position the seats of slow learner students with students who excel, (3) Teachers innovate in the learning process by conducting educational games, (4) Teachers teach reading and writing lessons to slow learner students, (5) Teachers provide repetition of material to slow learner children, and (6) Teachers explain lesson material using concrete media.
