Pengaruh Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (Rme) Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Kelas Iv SDN 105 Pekanbaru Pada Materi Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK)
This research aims to see the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Grade IV Elementary School Students on Least Common Multiple (KPK) material. This type of research is research with a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental method. The design used in this research was a nonequivalent control group design, with a sample of two classes, namely class IV C as the experimental class and IV D as the control class which were chosen randomly. The experimental class was treated using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, while the control class was treated using the Direct Instruction method. Research data is in the form of pretest results to determine students' initial abilities, and posttest data to determine students' final abilities. Based on the results of the hypothesis test data analysis that was carried out, the significance results (2-tailed) of the t-test posttest for the experimental class and control class were 0.041 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. So it can be concluded that the experimental class posttest results are superior to the control class posttest results or it can be said that there is an influence of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Class IV Elementary School Students 105 Pekanbaru on Least Common Multiple (KPK) material.
