ABSTRACT

This research aims to 1) Understand the development of road infrastructure by the community in Kepuasan Barat Village. 2) To determine Community Participation in the construction of Road infrastructure in Kepuasan Barat Village. The population in this study was the farming community of Kepuasan Barat Village, totaling 375 heads of families. Sampling in this study used the random sampling method because each individual in the population has an equal opportunity to be selected as a sample. Meanwhile, the method used is descriptive qualitative, this method tends to be descriptive and places more emphasis on an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon being studied rather than creating general generalizations. The results of this research show that 1) The realization of the road repair budget as a form of community participation in road infrastructure development is also significant in maintaining and improving the condition of production roads because it can be seen from the condition of production roads which has improved for the better. 2) Community participation in the development of road infrastructure in West Kepuasan Village, reaching a score of 56.55% or being on a Likert Scale of 40-60%, is in the medium category.
