Pengaruh Penyaluran Kredit Modal Kerja, Kredit Konsumtif, Dan Kredit Investasi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Regional Dengan Non-Performing Loan (Npl) Sebagai Variabel Intervening
ABSTRACT
This study evaluates the impact of working capital credit, consumer credit, and investment credit on Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Regional Economic Growth (PDRB) within the financial and insurance sector in Indonesia. The primary focus of this research is to understand how credit policies influence NPL and PDRB and their implications for economic stability and regional growth.
The research employs a quantitative approach, with the population comprising all Regional Development Banks (BPDs) in Indonesia. A total of 146 observations were sampled using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted through multiple regression and path analysis over the period of 2018-2023.
The research results show that working capital loans affect NPLs, consumer loans affect NPLs, and investment loans also affect NPLs. In the context of GDP, working capital loans impact GDP, consumer loans also impact GDP, and investment loans influence GDP as well. NPLs act as a mediator in the relationship between working capital loans, consumer loans, and investment loans on GDP. These findings highlight the need for effective risk management and credit disbursement strategies to support regional economic growth.
