Pengaruh Fotoperiod Dan Temperatur Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Gabus (Channa Striata Bloch, 1793)
This study was conducted on April-Mei 2023 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was determine the effect of interaction photoperiod and temperature on growth and survival of snakehead fish (Channa striata) larvae. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors. The first factors was photoperiod with 3 levels; 24 hours on day (P1), 12
hours on dark and 12 hours on day (P2), 24 hours on dark (P3). The second factors is temperature with 2 levels; 28oC (T28) and 30oC (T30). The snakehead larvae were reared for 40 days in an aquarium. Parameters measured in this study
were absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, specific growth rate, survival rate, cannibalism index, and water quality. The result showed that interaction photoperiod and temperature had a significant effect (P
