PENGARUH DYNAMIC CAPABILITY TERHADAP KINERJA USAHA DENGAN INOVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

The MSME sector contributes to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 61%,
or worth IDR 9,580 trillion, in fact the contribution of MSMEs to labor absorption
reaches 97% of the total workforce. Based on data from the Ministry of
Cooperatives and SMEs, Indonesia has 65.5 million MSMEs, which account for
99% of all business units. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of
dynamic capability on innovation, the effect of dynamic capability on business
performance, the effect of innovation on performance and the effect of dynamic
capability on business performance with innovation as an intervening variable.
The population in this study were all cafe businesses in the Binawidya
District area, totaling 65 cafe owners. The method used in this research is the
census sample method because the population is less than 100 cafes, so the entire
population is used as a sample. The type of research data is quantitative data with
primary data sources. The data collection technique is by distributing
questionnaires directly to respondents. Data analysis uses path analysis with
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) modeling equations.
The results of this research are that Dynamic Capability has a significant influence
on the performance of MSMEs and also has a significant influence on the
Innovation of District Cafe MSMEs. Binawidya Pekanbaru City. Innovation has a
significant influence on MSME performance and there is a significant influence
between Dynamic Capability on the performance of District Cafe MSMEs.
Binawidya Pekanbaru City with Innovation as an Intervening variable.
Research suggestions are as follows: MSMEs at cafes in Kec. Pekanbaru
City Binawidya needs to make efforts to adapt to changes in the environment and
technology more optimally so that in the future these businesses can survive and
compete well and generate greater profits so that MSMEs remain the driving force
of the country's economy. Suggestions for future researchers are that researchers
can increase the level of precision in conducting research because this research
adds variables and other types of MSMEs that might be researched in further
research. The suggestion for the government is that in the future it should make
more policies so that cafe MSMEs register active businesses so that they can take
part in the training held and increase their abilities and creativity in running their
businesses.
