PRARANCANGAN PABRIK BIOBUTANOL PROSES FERMENTASI GLUKOSA OFF GRADE DENGAN DESAIN ALAT UTAMA DESTILASI ASETON - ETANOL (T-105)
The need for fuel oil (BBM) in Indonesia has increased quite significantly along
with the increase in the number of private cars and motorbikes. Limited supplies of
petroleum reserves and environmental problems have caused countries in the world
to start switching to the production or use of biofuels. One biofuel that can replace
fossil fuels is biobutanol which is made by fermenting off grade glucose with the
bacteria Clostridium acetobutylicum. This factory is planned to operate 330 per
year and work continuously 24 hours/day with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year which
will be established in Mataram Udik, Bandar Mataram District, East Lampung
Regency, Lampung. The main equipment design in this factory is the AcetoneEthanol Distillation (T-105) which functions to separate acetone and ethanol.
Based on non-financial analysis consisting of markets, environment, management
and law, there are no obstacles that hinder the construction and operation of the
factory. From the financial analysis, factory construction can be carried out with
an IRR value of 22.75%, PBP 1.32 years; and BEP 33.15%
