The performance of a company is also influenced by the performance of its
employees. To find out the performance of employees, monitoring needs to be
done, such as monitoring employee attendance at the office. Unfortunately, PT
Arhanindo Pratama does not yet have a tool to conduct attendance so it is difficult
to monitor employee attendance. PT Arhanindo Pratama is a company that works
according to projects. The unavailability of attendance makes employees only
realize their presence if they are needed or sought after to discuss projects.
Therefore, employees can deliberately come late to the office or even be absent.
Employee absenteeism causes problems such as difficulty discussing project
progress and a sense of injustice to employees who are always present in the
office. Therefore, an Android-based employee monitoring and project progress
application was designed and developed using the Prototype development method.
This application uses selfie and Location Based Service (LBS) to validate
employee attendance. Application testing was successfully carried out with ISO
25010 standards, namely functionality suitability with a value of 100%, reliability
with a rating of A, maintainability with a rating of A, good performance
efficiency, portability that successfully runs the application on eight devices,
compatibility that successfully opens the application simultaneously in splitscreen mode, security with a rating of A, and usability using UEQ with the results
of attractiveness 2.37, perspicuity 2.27, efficiency 2.20, dependability 2.15,
stimulation 2.22, and novelty 2.15 so that it is included in the excellent category.
