ANALISIS PROFIL BEBAN TERHADAP DAYA KELUARAN ROOFTOP PV DI FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS RIAU
Riau University's Faculty of Engineering has three electricity usage sections as
follows: Faculty of Engineering Distribution Substation with social electricity
service group 3 and power capacity of 690 kVA, Dean Building with social
electricity service group 2 and power capacity of 197 kVA, and Petrochemical
Building with social electricity service group 2 and power capacity of 131 kVA. This
research aims to analyze the electrical load profile on the power and output energy
of the Rooftop PV (Photovoltaic) system at the Faculty of Engineering, Riau
University. The focus of the research is to determine the power at daily, weekly,
monthly, annual loads, as well as electrical energy usage for a year. The
methodology used in this research includes measuring the load for a month using a
Power Quality Analyzer and taking electricity account data for a year. The data is
then used to determine the load curve at each period and determine the desired
output comparison. From the calculation and analysis of the load curve, the
average power of the Faculty of Engineering is 138.54 kW and the average output
power of Rooftop PV is 210.84 kW in a year. While the total electrical energy
consumption of the Faculty of Engineering is 1,217.7 MWh and the energy
production of Rooftop PV is 1,846.7 MWh in a year. Thus, the production of Rooftop
PV electrical energy in the Faculty of Engineering building of Riau University can
supply electrical energy needs in full and has excess electrical energy of 629 MWh
with a percentage of about 52% in a year.
