ANALISIS PERFORMANCE RATIO (PR) TERHADAP VARIASI TILT ANGLE PADA PERANCANGAN ROOFTOP PV DI GEDUNG FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS RIAU
This study aims to examine the impact of variations in the angle of rooftop PV
systems on energy and Performance Ratio using PVsyst software. The research was
conducted by implementing rooftop PV systems on seven buildings within the
Faculty of Engineering at Riau University, namely buildings C, the Dekanat
building, F, T, O, TPP, and the Petrochemical building. Simulations were carried
out separately for each building to observe the effect of angle changes on each
structure. Prior to the simulations, data collection and measurements were
performed using an automatic weather station (AWS) to obtain data on radiation,
wind velocity, and humidity, which were then input into the software to ensure the
simulation conditions matched the actual site conditions. The results of this study
indicated that there was an increase in energy and Performance Ratio when the
angle was reduced from the original design condition. The results of reducing the
angle showed an increase in energy and Performance Ratio (PR) as follow, For
building C, there is an increase in energy and PR of 5,690 kWh/year, for the
Dekanat building 1,371 kWh/year, for building F 28,639 kWh/year, for building T
21,137 kWh/year, for building O 12,643 kWh/year, for the TPP building 4,922
kWh/year, and for the Petrochemical building 1,604 kWh/year. Likewise, the
performance ratio has increased, for building C the PR increased by 2.3%, for the
dekanat building by 2.5%, for building F by 2%, for building T by 1.5%, for building
O by 1.3%, for the TPP building by 0.4%, and for the Petrochemical building by
0.4%."
