Sistem Monitoring Data Timbangan Digital Hasil Pertanian Kelapa Sawit Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT)
The rapid development of technology, especially in agriculture, has led to
significant innovations that enhance productivity and efficiency. One such
innovation is the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into agricultural
processes. This thesis presents the design and implementation of a digital scale
data Monitoring system for oil palm agricultural products based on IoT. The
primary motivation behind this study is the limitation of traditional digital scales,
which can only handle a maximum weight of 100kg, thereby prolonging the
weighing process. The proposed system aims to expedite and improve the
accuracy of the weighing process by utilizing a digital scale that can be
monitored through the Blynk application. The system is built using a NodeMCU
microcontroller, a Load Cell sensor, an HX711 module, and a 16x2 LCD display.
The NodeMCU facilitates Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling real-time data
transmission to the Blynk server. The data collected from the Load Cell is
converted from analog to digital using the HX711 module, and then processed by
the NodeMCU to display the weight on the LCD screen and the Blynk application.
This setup allows for continuous Monitoring and efficient management of the
weighing process in oil palm agriculture. The results of the implementation show
that the system successfully integrates the hardware components and the Blynk
platform to provide an accurate and reliable Monitoring solution. This system not
only speeds up the weighing process but also ensures data accuracy and ease of
access through mobile devices. The application of IoT in this context
demonstrates the potential for further advancements in agricultural technology.
