PEMETAAN TINGKAT KEBISINGAN PADA UNIT POWER PLANT DI PT KILANG PERTAMINA INTERNASIONAL (KPI) REFINERY UNIT (RU) II SEI PAKNING
This research was carried out in a power plant unit with a total working area of
745 m2, which is a unit that is a source of electrical energy to support all activities
at PT KPI RU II Sei Pakning. The source of electrical energy comes from a
generator engine which operates continuously for 24 hours, producing continuous
loud noise, which will increase sound exposure to workers and increase the risk of
danger to workers in the power plant unit. This research aims to determine the
intensity of noise produced by generator engines, exposure time and appropriate
noise control efforts in power plant units. The measured noise intensity is depicted
in mapping using Surfer 13 Software which produces contours, then combined with
the location of the power plant unit which is indicated by different colors, namely,
red, orange, yellow, green and purple. The highest noise intensity is located at point
B5 at 105.2 dB with an exposure time of 0.08 hours as indicated by the red color
with a temperature of 32°C and the lowest noise intensity occurs at point E7, namely
69.8 dB with an exposure time of 268 hours as indicated by purple color with a
temperature of 27.7°C. Based on the research and measurements that have been
carried out, there are 27 measurement points in the power plant unit that exceed
the noise threshold value based on RI Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of
2018, namely 85 dB. Noise control efforts that can be carried out are controlling
the source, controlling the sound transmission path and controlling the receiver.
