Pemeliharaan Ikan Lele Mutiara (Clarias Gariepinus) Pada Sistem Bioflok Dengan Penambahan Susu Kental Manis
This research was carried out in November 2023 - January 2024 for 56 days at the Hatchery and Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of sweetened condensed milk on floc volume, growth and survival of african catfish (Clarias gariepinus) in a biofloc system. The method used was an experimental method using a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of five treatment levels with three replications. The treatments used were P0: molasses dose 200 mL/m3 (control), P1: sweetened condensed milk dose 150 mL/m3, P2: sweetened condensed milk dose 200 mL/m3, P3: sweetened condensed milk dose 250 mL/m3, and P4: sweetened condensed milk dose 300 mL/m3. The best treatment was found in the addition of sweetened condensed milk with a dose of 300 mL/m3 (P4) which gave a floc volume of 50.2 mL, an average absolute weight of 13.82 g, an absolute length of 7.79 cm, and a feed conversion of 0.79, survival rate of 87.78%. Air quality includes temperatures ranging from 26.7-29.3 oC, air pH ranging from 5.9-8.3, dissolved oxygen (DO) content ranging from 5.9-6.2 mg/L, ammonia ranging from 0.0753-0.5236 mg/L, nitrite ranging from 0.0865-2.2806 mg/L, and nitrate ranging from 0.2104-2.075 mg/L.
Keywords: Clarias gariepinus, sweetened condensed milk, growth, floc volume, survival.
