Pengaruh Pengayaan Kutu Air Menggunakan Viterna dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Gabus (Channa striata)
This study aims to determine the effect of water flea enrichment using viterna with different doses on the growth and survival of larvae cork fish (Channa striata) and determine the best dose of viterna in feed enrichment. The research was conducted from March 17 to April 25, 2024 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The method used in this research an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 levels and 3 repetitions with each treatment P0 (water flea without viterna (control), P1 (water flea enriched with viterna 15 ml/L), P2 (water flea enriched with viterna 30 ml/L), P3 (water flea enriched with viterna 45 ml/L) with an enrichment time of 5 hours. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the enrichment of water fleas using viterna with different doses has a significantly different effect (P < 0.05) on the growth and survival of larvae of cork fish (C. striata). The best treatment P3, which is water flea enrichment using 45 ml/L viterna. The resulting absolute weight growth was 0.97 ± 0.01 g absolute length 4.36 ± 0.01cm, specific growth rate 15.46 ± 0.03% and larval survival 100.00 ± 0.00%.
