Hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dengan Kecerdasan Interpersonal Siswa Kelas Tinggi SDN 184 Pekanbaru
This research was motivated by researchers' interest in looking at the characteristics of different students when interacting at school during class and break times. These differences in social characteristics are caused by various factors, one of which is the parenting style of parents. Parents are busy at work and therefore pay less attention to their children, which also affects students' social relationships with their friends. This research aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and the interpersonal intelligence of high class students at SDN 184 Pekanbaru. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. This research was carried out in classes IV A, V B and VI B at SDN 184 Pekanbaru with a total of 111 students and was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used by researchers is simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data obtained was then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between parenting styles and the interpersonal intelligence of high class students. So Ha accepted and H0 rejected. Parental parenting styles contribute 16.3% to interpersonal intelligence and the remaining 83.7% is influenced by other variables.
