Uji Bahan Pembawapadaformulasi Tepung Beauveria Bassiana (Bals.) Vuillemin Lokalterhadap Mortalitas Ulat Grayak Jagung Spodoptera Frugiperda J. E. Smith Di Laboratorium
Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. Smith is a major pest of corn plants. Biological control using Beauveria bassiana is effective for controlling S. frugiperda. B. bassiana flour formulations can be added with carrier as energy and nutrients. The study aimed to obtain the best carrier in the flour formulation of the local entomopathogenic fungus B. bassiana against to mortality S. frugiperda in the laboratory. The research was conducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, in January until March 2024 using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications, resulting in 16 experimental units. The treatments used were carrier in the formulation of localB. bassianaflour, namely bran flour, eggshell flour, clam shellflourandkaolin flour. The observation parameters were the initial time of death (hours), lethal time 50 (hours), daily mortality (%), total mortality (%) and temperature and humidity. The results showed that kaolin flour carrier in the formulation of local B. bassiana

be declared as a bioinsecticide because it was able to cause total mortality of S. frugiperda larvae 87.5%, the initial time of death of S. frugiperda larvae 22.25 hours and lethal time 50 of S. frugiperda larvae 63,50 hours.
