Efektivitas Ekstrak Daun Pepaya Jepang (Cnidoscolus Aconitifolius I.M. Johnst) Terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Tritip (Plutella Xylostella L.) Pada Tanaman Sawi Di Laboratorium
Mustard greens have high economic value and contain high levels of several vitamins and minerals needed by the body. P. xylostella attacks all stages of the plant and eats the leaf tissue and leaves the epidermis layer of the leaf, in heavy attacks only leaves the leaf veins. P. xylostella attacks can reach 58% - 100%. A plant that has potential as a botanical pesticide is the Japanese papaya plant (Cnidoscocus aconitifoluos I.M. Johnst). This research aims to obtain a concentration of Japanese papaya extract (Cnidoscocus aconitifoluos I.M. Johnst) that is effective for controlling Plutella xylostella pests. This research was carried out in the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, from October to December 2023, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments given were Japanese papaya leaf extract concentrations of 0g.1-1, 20 g.1-1, 40 g.1-1, 60 g.1-1, 80 g.1-1, and 100 g.1-1 with water solvent. The results of the study showed that administration of several concentrations of Japanese papaya leaf extract had a significant effect on the death of p pests. P. xylostella concentration of 20 g.1-1 is good in controlling P. xylostella pests, but the effective concentration for killing P. initial death 6.75 hours after application and lethal time 50 at 52.75 hours after application.
