Analisis Dan Simulasi Mekanisme Pengasutan Motor Induksi 3 Fasa Menggunakan Autotrafo Berbasis Software
In the current era, induction motors have become the primary choice in various applications. Induction motors are electrical devices that convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. Three-phase induction motors have a drawback, one of which is the high starting current. Due to the high starting current, induction motors often cause a voltage drop in the system and disrupt the performance of other devices on the same circuit. Therefore, a starting method is needed to reduce the significant starting current. The method used in this research is the collection of simulation data conducted in this study by initializing the type of induction motor and its parameters. Then, create the simulation using the Stardelta and Autotransformer methods and test it to measure the varying load conditions during start and Steady State at RPM, power, transient time, and current. After performing the calculations, analyze the comparison of starting methods between Stardelta and Autotransformer, RPM speed test analysis, current test analysis, torque analysis, transient time analysis, power analysis, and the analysis of electrical energy used during the steady state. Based on simulations and mathematical calculations using the autotransformer method, it can produce a smaller starting current. The change in current is proportional to the change in voltage. Therefore, by applying the voltage gradually, the resulting current does not spike high and aligns with the expected settings.Thus, the problem of a 3-phase induction motor can be overcome by the autotrafo method. .
