Based on the analysis of demographic factors of respondents, the independence variable obtained high results, namely with a mean of 3.69 with a high interpretation. This proves that demographic factors (province of origin, age, parent/guardian's occupation, faculty and study program) can determine the high or low independence of out-of-town students. Then based on descriptive analysis based on variables, the level of independence of out-of-town students was obtained with a mean of 3.69 which is in a high estimate.
Furthermore, based on the demographic analysis of respondents' peer social support with a mean of 3.62 in a high interpretation, this proves that demographic factors (province of origin, age, parent/guardian's occupation, faculty and study program) can determine the level of peer social support, then descriptive analysis based on variables obtained the level of peer social support with a mean of 3.61 which is in a high interpretation.
