Pengembangan E-Modul Menulis Pantun Bermuatan Tunjuk Ajar Melayu dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning Berbantuan Book Creator untuk Kelas VII SMP
Learning Malay is an integral part of the education curriculum in Indonesia, including in junior high schools. However, teaching Malay is often faced with challenges in making students interested and actively involved in the learning process. One way that can be done to increase interest and effectiveness in learning Malay is to utilize elements of local culture and traditions, such as pantun. Tunjung Ajar Melayu is a rich source of Malay cultural values which can be used as a basis for learning pantun. Therefore, it is important to develop an electronic teaching module containing Malay Teaching Points for learning pantun at SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto.
This research aims to develop an electronic teaching module designed based on the concept of learning pantun which contains Malay teaching and learning, and to evaluate the effectiveness of this module in improving the understanding of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto with the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is the research and development method (Research and Development) with a development model that refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The popu-lation in the study were class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. Class VII students as samples in this research were class VII A students with a total of 25 students.
Data from the pretest and post-test results show that there has been an in-crease in student learning outcomes in writing pantun by 22.84 points. This in-crease is shown by the average student learning outcomes before using the e-module, namely 79.37, an increase in learning outcomes with an average score of 91.20 after using the e-module for writing pantun containing Malay teaching points. Based on the data from the Wilcoxon test results on e-module development on student learning outcomes, it shows that the Z count is -4.293 and the signifi-cance value is 0.000. So, there is a difference between pretest and post-test learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence in the devel-opment of e-modules on student learning outcomes.
Based on the recapitulation data from the teacher response questionnaire, it shows that the average percentage of presentation aspects is 98% with a validity level of "Very Good". Furthermore, the graphic aspect obtained 93% with a validity level of "Very Good". Apart from teacher responses, this e-module also provides insights from students. Based on questionnaire recapitulation data, student respons-es show that the average is 88% with a validation level of "Very Good". Based on the results of the teacher and student responses, it shows that the teaching material products in this research are "very suitable" for use.
The development of an e-module for writing pantun containing Malay teaching instructions with a contextual teaching and learning approach assisted by a book creator for class VII SMP has several positive implications that can contribute to the learning process and student development, namely pantun as a form of traditional poetry, not only functions as a a tool of cultural expression, but also as an effective educational tool in cultural education and development in shaping students' character and skills.
