The data in this study was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique used in determining the subject was purposive, with seven research subjects. The results of this study are the reason why rubber farmers move to palm oil because cheap rubber prices often experience fluctuations that create instability in farmers' income and rubber work methods that require a lot of time and energy, but the income obtained is not proportional to the efforts made. The economy of rubber farmers after moving to palm oil provides a better increase in income than before. They are easier to meet their daily needs, finance children's education, saving and investment skills, and be more active in social activities.
