Keragaman Genetik Dan Heritabilitas Beberapa Varietas Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Pada Berbagai Dosis Abu Tkks Di Lahan Gambut
Shallot is a horticultural commodity that has many benefits and is much needed by the community, so efforts are needed so that shallot production always increases. This study aims to determine the interaction and influence of each shallot variety and EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) ash on peatland and to determine the genetic diversity and heritability value of several shallot varieties. The research method was conducted experimentally using a factorial randomized group design (RBD) with two factors, namely EFB ash and shallot varieties. The results showed that the interaction of the variety of Bima Brebes and EFB ash 5 t.ha-1 had a significant effect on all observed characters except plant height and number of leaves. Shallot variety Bima Brebes is the best variety and the dose of 5 t.ha-1 (0.5 kg.plot-1) of EFB ash is the best dose. The character of the number of bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh bulbs per plot and the weight of shelf-worthy bulbs per plot has a wide genetic diversity because it has a value twice as large as its standard deviation, while the character of the number of bulbs per clump has a moderate heritability value of 25.70%.
