Respons Beberapa Varietas Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Terhadap Berbagai Dosis Abu Tkks Di Lahan Mineral Bergambut
Shallots are horticultura crops that play an important role for the people of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the response and best combination of several shallot varieties to the administration of various doses of EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) ash, as well as to obtain the most adaptive shallot varieties on peaty mineral soil. This study was conducted experimentally using a factorial RBD (Randomized Block Design) consisting of two factors, namely the dose of EFB ash and shallot variety. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs per clump, bulb height, bulb diameter, fresh bulb weight per clump, storable bulb weight per clump, fresh bulb weight per plot and storable bulb weight per plot. The results obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with DNMRT (Duncan‟s New Multiple Range Test) at the 5% level. The results showed that the combination of Bima Brebes variety with a dose of 5 t.ha-1 EFB ash gave the best response to the characters of the number of bulbs per clump, fresh bulb weight per clump, fresh bulb weight per plot and storable bulb weight per plot. Shallot variety Tajuk is the most adaptive variety on peaty mineral soil.
