Pengembangan Instrumen Four-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Test Pada Materi Redoks Dan Sel Elektrokimia Kelas XII SMA/MA Sederajat
This research was motivated by the use of test instruments by teachers in schools who were not focused enough on diagnosing students' level of understanding of concepts, so that the cause of difficulties in understanding chemical material could not be known precisely. The main aim of this research is to develop a four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument on redox and electrochemical cell material that is valid and reliable in order to identify students' level of conceptual understanding. This research uses the R & D method with the ADDIE development model. Based on the research results, the test instrument developed was declared valid by the validator by fulfilling the material, construction and language aspects, with respective percentages of 90.44%, 91.11% and 97.48%. The results of the question characteristics test showed that of the 30 questions developed, 19 questions had very good validity, the reliability value was declared reliable at 0.940 in the very high category. The difficulty level of the questions is in the medium category with an average of 0.357, and has good discriminating power with an average of 0.527. The results of the diagnostic test identification showed that the percentage of 22 Chemistry Education students Class of 2023 FKIP Riau University who understood the concept, experienced misconceptions, did not understand the concept and had errors were 7.65%, 27.03%, 62.20% and 3.11% . The results of teacher and student responses show an average percentage of 86.11% and 86.95%, which is categorized as very good.
