Analisis Minat Membaca Kritis Bagi Mahasiswa Ppg Pgsd Prajabatan Dengan Menggunakan Instrumen Critical Reading Intention Scale (CRIS)

This research aims to describe in detail the level of interest in critical reading of PPG PGSD Prajabatan students at Riau University. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. This research was conducted on the PPG Campus of the University of Riau involving 452 research populations and 208 research samples, namely active PPG PGSD Prajabatan students, Class 1 of 2023, Class of 2023, Class 2 and Class of 2024. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is calculating the percentage of data for each indicator, then interpreting the data percentage score and analyzing each indicator in depth. The results of the recapitulation of indicators in this research show that the results of the goal indicator (intention) obtained the highest percentage results compared to other indicators, namely 97.24%, behavioral beliefs (Behavioural Belief) 96.48%, Attitude (Attitude) 93.67%, normative beliefs (Normative Belief) 96.41%, subjective norms (Subjective Norms) 96.56%, control beliefs (Control Belief) 93.68%, and perceived behavioral control (Perceived Behavioral Control) 93.96% which means that all indicators fall within very good category. In the recapitulation of indicators, the CRIS Instrument consists of 30 statement items which show that Pre-service PPG PGSD students got a result of 95.43%, so it can be concluded that the interest in critical reading of Pre-service PPG PGSD students is in the very good category.
