Responspertumbuhan Danproduksi Tanamancabai Merah (Capsicum Annuum L.) Terhadap Pemberian Pupuknpk,Kompossolid Danpupuk Hayati
Red chili plants have high economic value due to the large number of consumer demands, both on a household scale and in the food industry. Increasing the productivity of red chili is needed in its cultivation to meet consumer demand. One effort that can be made is to carry out balanced fertilization. The addition of organic fertilizer has the potential to reduce the dose of inorganic fertilizer used. This research aims to determine the growth response and yield of red chilies and to obtain the best dose to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, located on the Binawidya Campus KM. 12.5 Simpang Baru, Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This research was carried out from December 2022 to June 2023. The study used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment plan is 100% NPK; 100% NPK + solid compost; 75% NPK + solid compost; 75% NPK + solid compost + biofertilizer; 50% NPK + solid compost + biofertilizer and 25% NPK + solid compost + biofertilizer. The results showed that the administration of various doses of NPK fertilizer and biological organic fertilizer did not have a real effect on plant height and dichotomous height, but had a significant effect on flowering time, harvest time, fruit length, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plot. Reducing the dose of NPK fertilizer can be done by 25%. The treatment of 75% NPK + solid compost + biofertilizer was able to show results that were not much different from the treatment of 100% NPK.
