Uji Efektivitas Ekstrak Daun Sirsak (Annona Muricata L.) Terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Grayak Bawang Merah (Spodoptera Exigua Hubner)
Soursop (Annona muricata L.) is a plant of the Annonaceae family whose leaves and fruit have potential as a vegetable insecticide. A. muricata contains the active compound Acetogenin which is entered as a contact poison and stomach poison. Works by distrupting the digestive system, causing coagulation in the stomach. This study aims to obtain an effective concentration of soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L.) on the mortality of shallot armyworms (Spodoptera exigua Hubner). This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications to obtain 20 experimental units. The treatments given were 100 g.l-1 water, 75 g.l-1 water, 50 g.l-1 water, 25 g.l-1 water and 0 g.l-1 water. Parameters observed were time of initial death (hours), lethal time 50 (hours), lethal concentration (LC50 and LC 95) (%), daily mortality (%), total mortality, temperature and humidity. The results showed that a concentration of soursop leaf extract 100 g.l-1 water was an effective concentration in controlling S. exigua larvae because it was capable of causing a total mortality of 92.50% with an initial death time of 9.75 hours after application and a lethal time of 50 at 21.75 hours after application whereas the right concentration to kill 50% of the test insects is 2.48% or the equivalent of 24.8 g.l-1 of water, the right concentration to kill 90% of the population of S. exigua larvae is 17.58% or the equivalent of 175.8 g.l-1 water.
Keywords: vegetable insecticide, acetogenin, daily mortality, total mortality.
