Analisis Produktivitas dan Efesiensi Alat Tangkap Belat di Perairan Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Timur Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

The research was carried out from September (2023) to October (2023) in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur Village, Meranti Islands Regency. This research aims to analyze the productivity and efficiency of splint fishing gear in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Meranti Islands Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method, namely by observing and collecting data directly about fishing activities using splint fishing gear in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur Village, Meranti Islands Regency. Based on research and interviews conducted in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur Subdistrict, Meranti Islands Regency, it is known that the splint fishing gear operating in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur District has the capacity to catch 19.25 kg of fish per trip. The efficiency of the splint fishing unit in the waters of Tebing Tinggi Timur District is 3.47 or greater than one (>1).
