Pengaruh kepemimpinan, pengalaman dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja dengan motivasi sebagai variable moderating pada dinas lingkungan hidup dan kebersihan mota pekanbaru
Employee performance is one of the crucial factors in the success of an organization. However, the results of the performance assessment at the Pekanbaru City Environmental and Sanitation Service show that most employees have not reached the optimal performance category. Several main factors that influence this are ineffective leadership, a lack of work experience, limited training provided to employees, a lack of punctuality, and a lack of cooperation. In addition, low motivation also worsens the situation, marked by a lack of appreciation and minimal adequate work facilities.
In this study, several variables will be used that involve aspects of employee performance, namely leadership, experience, training, and motivation. Therefore, this study aims to determine the extent to which leadership, experience, and training affect employee performance, as well as the role of motivation in strengthening this relationship. The method used is a quantitative approach, which was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation of 66 employees at the Pekanbaru City Environmental and Sanitation Service. Then, the data was analyzed using research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests, coefficient of determination (R2), and regression analysis moderation tests (MRA). The results showed that leadership, experience, and training had a significant positive effect on employee performance. In addition, motivation is proven to moderate the influence of leadership and experience on employee performance, but motivation is unable to moderate the relationship between training and employee performance. Therefore, this study concludes that improving the quality of leadership, work experience, targeted training, and optimal motivational support can significantly improve employee performance.
